Cum se identifica

If ... Past Perfect ..., ... would have + past participle ...

Exemple

Tom would have helped me with my homework if he had had time.   

(situatie ipotetica in trecut)

If the weather had been nice, I would have walked to my office. 

(situatie ipotetica in trecut)

If I had had a day off from work, I would have gone to the beach.  

(situatie ipotetica in trecut)

Comentarii

1)  "Past Real Conditional"  face referire la o situatie trecuta ipotetica.

2) Pentru situatiile imaginare (ireale) nu se foloseste "when" deoarece se considera ca actiunea/ evenimentul nu a avut loc.
