It has been recently used
primarily as a credit transfer system having its
limitations: a relatively small number of mobile
students.
With the conversion of
higher education system and degrees across Europe,
through the implementation of Bologna process, the
importance of E.C.T.S. has been transformed.
Nowadays it has become a generalized credit system
for the European higher education.

Institutions which apply
ECTS publish their course catalogues on the web,
including detailed descriptions of study programs,
units of learning, university regulations and
student services. Course descriptions contain
learning outcomes (what students are expected to
know, understand and be able to do) and workload
(the time students typically need to achieve the
learning outcomes), expressed in terms of credits.
|
Institutiile cate aplica
sistemul ECTS isi publica cursurile pe internet, in
(timpul necesar alocat atingerii scopurilor),
exprimat in credite.

Student mobility is
another important issue discussed at the Eurotop
conference. The viewpoints are different, each
people with its cultural differences but all having
in mind the same question: Does studying abroad
makes me a better student? Does it mean more than
going to classes and gathering knowledge?

Mobilitatea studentilor
este un alt aspect important discutat la conferinta
Eurotop. Punctele de vedere sunt impartite : fiecare
avand particularitatile sale culturale dar toti
avand in minte aceeasi intrebare : Studiul in afara
tarii ma face un student mai bun ? Acest lucru
inseamna mai mult decat a merge la cursuri si a
acumula informatii?

The opinions are
different: the Germans preferred interactive
lectures, aimed at enhancing the interpersonal and
presentation skills; the Dutch stressed the
importance of independent study.

Parerile sunt diferite :
Germanii prefera lecturile interactive, orientate
spre punerea in valoare a competentelor
interpersonale si de prezentare. Danezii au
subliniat importanta studiului independent.

In the end, a final
resolution has been embraced: o diversity of
universities that teach knowledge and offer a lot of
possibility for personal development, but with
diverse educational design.
|
In final, toti au ajuns
la acelasi consens : diversitatea facultatilor ce
ofera cunostinte si posibilitatea dezvoltarii
personale, dar cu un design educational variat.
